Bought a set of standard Balance Tone Drone Reeds some time ago now and very pleased with them; once set up they have delivered on everything they promised; good sound, steady over time, air-efficient, moist resistant, easy to tune and easy to strike in. Also – with the sliding section on the reed – easy to adjust if playing chanters of slightly higher or lower pitch – like for your band or when playing solo. I warmly recommend them.
