Hi Bruce, I have had your reeds in both of my sets of pipes now for three months and they’ve never sounded so good. As you know, one set has a synthetic bag and the other a sheepskin bag. No matter: both are rock steady and the tone from both is outstanding. What a revelation! I’ve been a ‘cane man’ for years but I’m finding your reeds are actually producing a better sound than cane. It’s hard to describe but it’s more ‘fuller’ and there is definitely more projection. The harmonics that the reeds are getting from the chanter notes as well … fantastic! Thanks again, Bruce.
